Geotech, Inc. (TG) is one of the very few agencies
accredited by the American Association of State Highway
and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), in the midwest
area. The AASHTO program is focused solely on laboratories
in the construction materials testing field. TG has
selected the AASHTO program because it offers the
most complete package for accreditation and proficiency
sample testing. It is considered by many in the industry
to be the founding accreditation program of reference.
The accreditation and reference sample programs assures
our clients that our equipment, procedures, and personnel
are providing a standard of consistent reliability.
Within
the AASHTO program are two agencies the AASHTO Materials
Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and the Cement and Concrete
Reference Laboratory (CCRL). These agencies conduct
laboratory on-site inspections, quality systems reviews
and distribute and analyze proficiency sample test
data. TG participates in the AASHTO reference sample
programs for soils, concrete aggregates, asphalt concrete
aggregates, asphaltic concrete mixes, asphalt cement,
and Portland cement concrete mixes.

Construction
material testing is performed by experienced technicians
working under the direct supervision of a registered
professional engineer. TG provides complete quality
control testing and inspection services for earthwork,
concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel, masonry,
and asphalt construction. Inspection and quality control
tests are performed by ACI, NICET, AWS, and ICBO certified
technicians. In addition, TG technical staff have
City of Omaha Building Department Special Inspection

Geotech, Inc. is a leader in the use of recycled concrete
and asphalt in construction. Our engineers developed
a specification used by several agencies for the use
of Recycled Aggregates in Infrastructure Construction.
For
unique project requirements, the company has a fully
equipped 43' x 8' mobile field laboratory designed
for providing quality control services at remote locations.
This unit provides the advantage of dedicated on-site
staff and testing.
